Earthsong Felt Board

Our own felt board for making beautiful wool pictures–blue plant-dyed felt stretched over a plywood board which has been sealed with non-toxic Safe Seal. Works wonderfully with Fleecy Fluff. Children of all ages delight in putting the wool on the board; they also take joy in having adults "paint" a wool picture for them. $25.00

 

Note: To make a wool picture on a felt board, it is best to work with very thin layers of wool, building up color and creating forms a little at a time; quite beautiful effects can be achieved in this way. It is an activity very satisfying to adults as well as to children. Our granddaughter, age 7, has her own felt board & a little basket of colored wool. Our kit contains Plant Dyed Wool/Rayon Felt, Persian Yarn, Embroidery Floss (4 colors), and Pearl Cotton, in the colors shown in the magazine.
