About Needle Felting
Felting needles come from large industrial machines that use thousands of these barbed needles to compact fibers from various materials into felt and quilt batting, among other products. Fiber artists have found the use of single needles, or several together, to be an exciting new method of shaping and felting fibers into flat or three dimensional objects. This process is basically dry felting, but can be used with wet felting methods also. It is a magical and fun technique that can take you to new realms of fiber creativity.
