Knitted Trims: for woven, pieced, crocheted & Knitted Projects

This course will teach you how to hand knit a wide variety of trims that can be used to finish knitted, woven, crocheted, or felted fabrics. They will definitely add a touch of class to your finished items, making them look unique, creative, and professional. Many of these trims can be worked right along the edge of the garment while others are first constructed and then sewn on. You will learn about choosing yams and needles and how to determine the length of trim needed and the quantity of yarn. You will learn to knit I-cord with many variations, including multiple 1-cord, twisted, braided, and flat 1-cord trims. Then it's on to a number of trims adapted from machine and hand knitting, including mock cable, pie crust, picot, vertical garter stitch, two-color garter slip stitch, pointed saw-tooth, scalloped shell, picot point, looped and afghan garter stitch edgings to name a few. This video will serve as a valuable reference library of knitted trims, something that you will refer back to time after time as you create various textile projects.
