The history of Louet S10 bobbins is tied to the development of the wheel itself, which began in the 1970s in Holland. The original S10 bobbins featured a single belt-drive system and a single whirl on each end, with ratios of 1:5 and 1:6.5.
These original bobbins are no longer in production, but current S10 wheels and bobbins are compatible with older models, and modern bobbins also feature three different ratio settings.
